Has anyone had experience weighting survey data on sex when expanded gender identity options were used for sex? Or know of any resources around weighting survey data with updated more inclusive sexual identity questions?

Hey @melissa.taylor sorry for the slow reply! I have a lot of experience weighting survey data with nuanced identity data. Basically, the best way to do this is going to depend on the concordance between the categories of identity data in the survey and the categories of identity data in the population level data you’re trying to match. What are the ways that these two datasets match and what ways are they different?
