RFP for New Research report for Black Philanthropy Initiative

The Black Philanthropy Initiative, a strategic initiative of The Winston-Salem Foundation is seeking a values-aligned partner or collaboration of partners to develop a second research report to be released digitally in August 2023.

We will revisit local data captured in BPI’s first report in 2018, Rethinking Philanthropy: An Exploration of Black Communities in Forsyth County, to assess where we are as a community and how we need to respond.

BPI’s Community Engagement Committee is leading this project and is committed to creating an RFP (request for proposal) process that is inclusive and equitable. Through this process, BPI seeks to:

· Gain a broad sense of project interest and alignment with BPI’s mission, vision and values.

· Prioritize Black-led organizations, designers and/or writers.

· Prioritize people and organizations with lived experience, a strong racial equity lens, or trauma-informed interviewing practices.

Check out our Request for Proposal to learn more about the project’s scope of work and deliverables. The deadline to submit an LOI is midnight, July 6.
