The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) Research Department invites applications for the position of Policy Research Analyst.
This full-time position will work closely with the SBCTC policy and program staff and the community and technical colleges to provide support and expertise for extracting, analyzing, and reporting data in alignment with the research needs of the system. The position requires strong database management skills, the ability to create reporting solutions to meet a range of end user needs, and a collaborative focus to problem-solving.
The Policy Research Analyst reports to the Director of Policy Research, and will work with a team of analysts and policy researchers. This position will ideally be headquartered in Olympia. However, hybrid or remote work can be negotiated.
The annual salary is $101,472 to $101,472.
Washington State has a generous benefit package including health, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, retirement, and two optional deferred compensation programs. The position is eligible to participate in the State Board Retirement Plan and Department of Retirement Systems (DRS).
