Job Description
This position provides a unique opportunity to build skills in program evaluation while also touching a diverse portfolio of multi-year projects from a myriad of funding agencies; these skills include evaluation design and management; technical writing and statistical analysis; building collaborative relationships in a team-based research setting; and data visualization and presentation.
Under administrative direction, the Management Research Analyst coordinates evaluation activities for a portfolio of 10+ projects from diverse funding agencies and with diverse client needs. The majority of projects are small, but can range in size from 10 to 800 participants. Evaluation activities consist of using behavioral and social science research methods to (1) collect and organize data; (2) analyze and synthesize data using qualitative (e.g., thematic analysis of interview or focus group data), quantitative (statistical analyses of survey data), and mixed-method approaches; (3) build and manage collaborative relationships with a diverse group of internal and external research personnel; and (4) write reports and give presentations to communicate evaluation findings, including conclusions regarding project success in meeting stated objectives and recommendations for project improvement. Additional activities include liaising with client leadership; developing logic models and evaluation research plans; and tracking project budget, tasks, and progress.
