Does anyone have a simple definition of data that you like to use? I am working on a presentation and have quantitative data defined as “data that can be counted or measured in numerical values” but that leaves the term “data” undefined. I know google exists, so to be a bit more specific in this ask - I’m looking for a definition that explains the difference between “data” and “information” and “facts” and that incorporates the concepts of data equity as well. Thanks!
