Ethics and Best Practices of Story Telling

My organization uses successful client stories in different marketing and grant materials. We always anonymize these stories, but don’t have any formal training or guidance on best practices and ethics for writing up these anonymous client stories. Can anyone recommend a training/workshop or other resources that could guide us?
